Rent the view over the 18th hole at St Andrews during The Open 2010
Currently editor-at-large for 'Links Magazine', Mr Peper is however spending the summer in the USA and letting out his St Andrews home to other golfing enthusiasts for an unrivalled seat at golf's most prestigious tournament.
As well as the view, his tenants will be able to enjoy the home where he has entertained a number of famous golfers as well as actor Bill Murray, his co-author of the book, 'Cinderella Story - My Life in Golf'.
A full account of Mr Peper's experiences living in St Andrews and overlooking the Old Course is told in his book, 'Two Years in St Andrews' (Simon & Schuster).
He said:
'One of my most enduring memories of watching golf from the window of our home is Jack Nicklaus's farewell appearance. I have a picture in our bedroom of Jack saving goodbye to the Scottish crowds and in the background you can see my wife, Libby and me, waving from our living room window. It sums up this place because watching from here puts you right up close to the action.'
The apartment sleeps four and is available through Pagan Osborne, the official letting agents for The Open. Oliver Williams for the St Andrews-based legal, finance and property specialists, added:
'Living at this property for the ten days of The Open will bring fans to the very brink of The Open Championship. There are very few properties like it.'
The property is being let from 10th to 19th July 2010 for £ 12,000.00 at the 150th Open Championship.
