Course Information
Designed by Herbert Fowler in 1911, the course, which measures 6310 yards (par 70) is undulating heathland by nature with some links elements by design. a regular venue for Open Championship Regional Qualifying, Beau Desert has hosted a range of top national and regional championships and provides a stern test of golf.

"Here might be one of the very best of courses, for the turf is excellent and there is a flavour of Gleneagles about it.  It stands high and is pleasanter in hot weather than cold, for the wind can blow with penetrating shrewdness."

Bernard Darwin 1925
The Golf Courses of Great Britian

Directions
Situated just to the west of the A460 (from Rugeley in the north to Cannock in the south), the course is situated just outside the village of Hazel Slade.
