COUNTY DINNER 2011

President of The English Golf Union, Anthony Abraham, with Andrew Dathan, President of Staffordshire

The 49th Annual Dinner of the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs was held at Aston Wood Golf Club on Friday 18th November attended by many members of Staffordshire golf clubs, representatives of other Midland County Golf Unions, and Trophy winners from the Junior, Senior and Veteran county golfers.

The Toast to The Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs was proposed by Anthony Abraham, President of the E.G.U. Andrew Dathan, County President replied and proposed the toast to the Guests. In his reply Colin Price (Comedian) rounded off the evening with a first rate performance.

Following the dinner the President presented trophies to those who had achieved playing honours in 2011.
