ASGC AT BLOXWICH - 2011

Morris Jones, Trentham Park G.C. winner of the Founders Trophy

?The 2011 Founders Trophy event was held at Bloxwich Golf Club on Monday 12th September. On a sunny, but very windy day, all, but a few, found the conditions extremely difficult, with only 3 players recording scores over 36 points. The event was very capably hosted by the Captain and Past Captains of Bloxwich Golf Club and the food was excellent".

"The eventual winner was Morris Jones of Trentham Park Golf Club with 38 stableford points. others notable performance came from John Sawle (Drayton Park GC) in division 1, 37 points, Colin Ringrose (South Staffs GC) Division 2, 38 points and Peter Jordan (Penn GC) Division 3, 31 points?.

Next event is the Presidents Day at Aston Wood Golf Club on Monday 10th October. Entries are required a.s.a.p. This event is also our A.G.M.
