BEDDOWS FOURSOMES - 2011

In the 24 hours leading up to tee-off the entry changed from an even number to an odd number and back again 7 times! My thanks to Terry Leece for organising a marker in the morning and taking part in the afternoon with Dave Thomas.

We used two referees from the latest local rules school, David Oliver from Penn and Steve Bloxham from Brocton Hall who gained distinction passes in their exams and were of great help during the course of the day. Our thanks to The South Staffordshire G.C. and it's manager Sue Le Beau.

The catering was excellent and the course was presented beautifully.

I went out to look at the course and it was a true challenge off the blue markers. Those teams that broke or edged 150 played fine golf.

The competitors seemed to have a very good day and my thanks to all the Club Secretaries-Managers who chased up and entered teams!
