Staffs Vs Warwickshire Seniors 2011

Staffordshire Seniors crashed to another heavy defeat in their away match against Warwickshire at The Robin Hood Golf Club on Monday 6 June. This is probably the worst start made by the seniors team in many seasons but this defeat was mitigated by the absence of Captain Nick Copestick and several other key and experienced players. At the same time Warwickshire had several new low handicap additions to strengthen their team and after the morning Greensomes they went in for lunch with a comfortable lead. They increased the pressure in the pm Better Balls with a near whitewash of 11-1 with only Keith Andrews and Tony Wright salvaging a point for Staffordshire.
