MEMBERSHIP SPRING MEETING

The first Membership Meeting was held at Enville G.C. Lodge course on Monday May 9th 2011, a full house of 96 pairs played.

The most supporting club was Great Barr with 30 competitors, Penn with 20 competitors followed by Uttoxeter with 19.

The A.G.M. followed the meeting where the secretary Barry Whitaker was presented with an electric golf trolley after completing 26 years on the membership committee with the last 16 years as secretary. The chairman Colin Ward (Penn) stood down and was replaced by Barry. Bob Simkin ex captain of Calderfields G. C. was elected as the new secretary with Les Williams continuing as treasurer.
