ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2011

                           Kevin Beattie - County Captain Elect

The fifth AGM of the Company was well attended by 34 persons representing 20 affiliated clubs.

The meeting was chaired by the President, Andrew Dathan of Whittington Heath G.C. who reported on success achieved by Staffordshire golfers during the year.  He then thanked all those who had contributed to that success and especially the clubs who, through hosting county events, enable their Union to function effectively.

The Treasurer presented the accounts to the meeting which were adopted unanimously.  It was agreed that the County Affiliation Fee be set at £4.30.

Barry Whitaker, the County Card secretary, said that this year two more clubs had joined the scheme making a total of 34 for the 2011 season. Names of participating clubs can be found under the 'County Card' link on the right of your screen.

Martin Payne, who acts as treasurer for the County Golf Partnership, stated that the finances were in a very healthy state.

The three Elected Directors, John Baugh (Bloxwich), Eric Hassell C.B.E. (Newcastle) and Geoff Marks O.B.E. (Trentham), were returned.
