In the final "Fun" match of the senior?s year and after last years defeat at his home cub of Walsall Captain Terry Henwood got his act together. 2010 saw has team deliver a comprehensive victory over a powerful ladies team. Lady Captain Brenda Parker from Ingestre GC was most gracious in defeat but she got her revenge when she delivered a very amusing speech to curtail Captain Henwood?s euphoria. Perhaps she has a career as a stand up comic awaiting her?

We were very grateful to Ingestre for hosting the event, the course was in superb condition and despite the ominous weather forecasting, it stayed warm and sunny until all the matches were completed. It is always a most enjoyable way to conclude the season and we thank the ladies for their hospitality and good company. Next year it is the men?s turn to host the event at Trentham Golf Club
