MEMBERSHIP AT DRUIDS HEATH

          S.U.G.C. at DRUIDS HEATH
              7th SEPTEMBER, 2010

Apart from the later starters experiencing two heavy showers and some distant thunder the day was a good one for golf, especially as the course was in such excellent condition.

Eight-five pairs played in the usual Rye Greensome format.  Players from twenty-six clubs were represented:  Great Barr 24, Penn 19, Uttoxeter 16, Others 23.

The Secretary, Barry Whitaker, thanked Bob Simkin for running the day and thanked the County President, Andrew Dathan, and Les Williams for checking the cards.

The Prizes (M&S vouchers) were presented by Mr. Kevin Rhodes the Captain of Druids Heath G.C. who was thanked by the County President for hosting this Membership golf day.
