JOHN SLAUGHTER BOYS MATCHPLAY AT STONE GOLF CLUB

The late John Slaughter, a member of Stone G.C. for many years, donated the trophy for the winner of the County Boys Matchplay Championship. 
Known as the SLAUGHTER Trophy it is presented to the winner every year at Stone G.C. where the finals have always been played.

The day was well attended by members of the County Executive and and Officials of Stone G.C.

As usual the course was in excellent order, the hospitality superb.  Special thanks must go to Robert Hawley who as usual provided sustenance to the inner man!

Results of the day will be found on the Juniors section of this web site but many congratulations to Freddie Sheridan-Mills who won the day and added the Boys title to his County matchplay title.
