ASGC FOUNDERS TROPHY - 2010

 A.S.G.C Founders Trophy 2010

The Founders Trophy 2010 was played at South Staffs Golf Club on Wednesday 11th August. The competition was played in fine and mostly sunny conditions and course as ever was in good order.

For the second year in succession the event was won by a South Staffs member. Terry Leece carded 41 points and takes possession of the trophy from Colin Ringrose who was unable to make this years event.

Division one was won by Martyn Pearce of Uttoxeter GC with 37 points from Colin Lovatt, Brocton Hall (b.b.9) Bob Seaton, Ingestre Park GC, was successful in Division 2 with 36 points and Ted Vickers of Beau Desert GC took the Division 3 crown.  No fewer than 11 clubs were represented in the prize presentation.

ASGC Members are reminded that the final event of 2010 will be played at Drayton Park GC on Thursday 7th October. Entries are due no earlier than 9th September. This event will be followed by the 2010 Annual General Meeting.
