Perhaps Captain Terry Henwood had similar thoughts when his weakened Staffordshire seniors team made the long journey to Market Rasen for their away match against Lincolnshire. On a beautiful day at a delightful venue, Terry?s boys failed to come up to expectations with only Peter Hodgkinson from Trentham and new boy Martin Pearce from Uttoxeter winning both morning and afternoon rounds. Lincolnshire led after the morning Greensomes by 4-2 and improved in the afternoon to run out worth 12-6 winners. Peter Hodginson was presented [photo] with his 50 appearance plaque.
