EGU Midland Qualifyer Team 6

Staffordshire narrowly missed out winning the Midland Qualifying event at Peterborough Milton Golf club and so will not go on to represent the Midlands in EGU national Team of 6 finals at Ferndown Golf Club. On a pleasant but very windy day the Staffordshire team of Glen McBryde, Barry Whitehouse, Ben Rhodes, Neil Portas, Trevor Bennet, Martin Payne and the evergreen John Loader as reserve where leading until the very final match when Dr Jim Pagan a dental surgeon from the host club came in with a final round of 78 to beat Staffordshire by 2 strokes and thus ensure Northamptonshire?s place in the EGU finals
