Saunton Jamboree

Doreen Banks of Trentham Golf Club passes the Saunton Trophy to Bill Harrison of Beau Desert Golf Club.

The Saunton Jamboree takes place every year in Fenruary at Saunton Golf Club in Devon. 

Several Counties enter 8-man teams, the competition uses the 4 ball better ball format.

The winning County is decided on the best team score.

Staffordshire clubs supporting this event are:-

• Drayton Manor
• Ingestre Park
• Sandwell Park
• Trentham

This is the second time Staffordshire Clubs have won in recent years.  The Trophy is passed from club to club, each club holding it for part of the year.
