3 Winners from Staffordshire in 2009

2009 Success for Staffordshire Boys

In the space of only a few weeks, Gian Romano (left) Trentham Park G.C. and this years Captain of Staffordshire Boys won the Midland Schools with rounds of 72+70=142.at Kirby Muxloe in Leicestershire.

Sam Benton of South Staffs Golf Club (centre) won the Midland Boys Championships at Kidderminster Golf Club shooting 73+70=143 winning by one shot from Nick Newbold of Derbyshire.

Robert Burlison (right) a 14 year old from Oxley Park became the English Schools U16 Champion at Northamptonshire County Golf Club, Church Brampton, with 69+76=145. Robert's round 1, gross 69, was only one shot off the Course record.
Robert will represent England Schools against Wales at Fulford Heath Golf Club on the 24th August.
