Ninety-one players took part in the Championship, played on the immaculately presented Ingestre Park Golf Course. The course played it's full length which was reflected in the CSS of 73 (+2).
Jim Dean, President of the Midland Golf Union, welcomed the players and thanked the Club Captain on behalf of the M.G.U. for hosting the event and presented the Club with a commemorative shield.
Martin Payne, Secretary of the Staffordshire Union of Golf Clubs, receives his prize for second best nett score of 72, awarded on a countback, the first place going to Michael Glover of Radcliffe-on-Trent also with a 72.
