County Card Scheme

The S.U.G.C. is pleased to announce that the introduction of the county card scheme (2009) has been a huge success.  Staffordshire has been welcomed into the National County Card Scheme. 

 With 10 more clubs in the county making a total of 32 and more counties joining this year, including Northumberland, Cumbria, Durham and Devon, means that members of golf clubs will have the opportunity to play golf at more than 1000 clubs nationwide at reduced green fees.'

  17. Newcastle under Lyme
  18. Oxley Park
  19. Penn
  20. Perton
  21. Sandwell Park
  22. South Staffs
  23. St. Thomas' Priory
  24. Stafford Castle
  25. Stone
  26. Swindon
  27. Trentham
  28. Uttoxeter
  29. Walsall
  30. Wergs
  31. Westwood
  32. Wolstanton
Members of these golf clubs are able to obtain a County Card from their golf club on payment of a small fee, in return for which, they will receive a membership card for one year which will give them access to over 1000 courses in many English Counties at reduced rates. 
If your club is not one of those listed above, but you would like to participate in this scheme, your Club Secretary should be able to help.
