A full field of 60 battled it out at Mickleover GC for the Midland Boys Championship 2011 which resulted in a 5 way playoff between Lee Shepherd, Sherwood Forest, Rob Aldred, Stourbridge, Bradley Moore, Kedleston Park, Cameron Long, Drayton Park and Michael Amos, Beau Desert all tying on 140.

Moore, Long and Amos pared the first extra hole but lost out to birdies by Shepherd and Aldred. Some excellent golf saw the next 4 holes halved, on the short par 4 8^th both players were on the green in regulation, Aldred won the hole with a birdie to retain the Midland Boys crown.
